Aluminium cookware

Aluminum, a lightweight cookware material, conducts heat efficiently. And as a member of a very soft material, aluminum can heat and cool very quickly. Its rust-free and fire-resistant properties make it the perfect material for baking. The non-stick coated surface is the best part of aluminum cookware. But when it comes to highly acidic and salty foods, this type of cookware can "catch fire" - the food and the aluminum will fuse. This means aluminum cookware must be careful when handling acidic foods such as ketchup so as not to affect the flavor and color of the food. Although aluminum roasting pots are safe, high temperature conditions can damage the coating of the cookware. Therefore it is not recommended for use at high temperatures.

There is no doubt that aluminum and cooking go very well together. However, if you want to use a lot of cookware or cook at high temperatures, then aluminum must not be a good choice. For this reason, commercial stainless cookware was created, and its high heat resistance also gives the cook a perfect and busy kitchen.

Stainless Steel Cookware

Stainless steel is a metal alloy formed by combining steel with several other cookware materials. The structure of the metal alloy determines that stainless steel pots are stronger than other metal pans. The durable properties of stainless steel cannot completely cover up its poor performance as a heat conductor. This is why the stainless steel pan set  or its bottom, thus improving the distribution of heat.

Rust and corrosion resistant cooks stainless steel cookware remains stable even at high temperatures. This looks like it was designed specifically for stainless baking pans. Even novices can quickly get started with stainless steel cookware because of its sturdiness and durability. For food results, this type of cookware is designed to be non-reactive and non-porous. This means that it will not be affected by the nature of the food. Scratch resistant, they are safe to be thrown in the dishwasher for cleaning.

Under normal circumstances, they are not non-stick, as no Teflon coating with non-stick properties is used on the surface of stainless cooking pots. However, properly seasoned stainless steel pans can be non-stick. They also require regular cleaning and care in order to maintain their non-stick properties over time.

In general, both types of cookware have their characteristics. The non-stick coated surface of aluminum cookware does not work well on stainless steel cookware. Instead, stainless steel cookware is versatile due to its stability, and you can cook anything you can think of. Aluminum cookware, on the other hand, is less stable. While both materials are suitable for ovens, stainless steel is more resistant to high temperatures than aluminum. They will all be helpful in your kitchen if you consider all the characteristics. If you want cookware that doesn't matter even if you use it a lot, you can choose stainless steel cookware. Or, if you want cookware that has a non-stick feature, you can choose aluminum cookware.

Make your cooking easy and enjoyable, starting with using these two types of cookware.
