How to Clean the Wok?

First rinse the wok with warm water.

 

Quickly put it in boiling water that does not contain dish soap or chemicals.

 

Clean the wok gently with a soft sponge to remove food residues.

 

Do not use rough mats, liquid cleaners or chemicals for cleaning.

 

Rinse the crumbs and dry the wok with a towel.

 

Or put the wok on the stove and use a low fire to wipe off the remaining water.

 

If you plan to store it for more than a week, it is recommended to add a thin layer of olive oil or grease to protect the patina of the wok.

Clean Cast Iron Pot

 

1. Burn the bottom of the pot. If you use a cast iron pot at home, you can use this method. That is, after turning on the fire, slowly cook the bottom of the pot with a low fire. After about ten minutes, turn off the fire, then use a spatula to clean the rust on the bottom of the pot, and then clean it with a stainless steel ball.

 

2. Soak in white vinegar. After frying the vegetables, clean the detachable frying pan a little, then pour some water into it, and then add five tablespoons of white vinegar. After stirring, set aside to soak for about 20 minutes. After the time is up, clean the bottom of the pan with clean water, and finally wipe the bottom of the wok with a dry cloth.

 

3. Wash with soap and water. In fact, soapy water is very useful for rust. After frying the vegetables, prepare a small dish of soapy water, soak in the bottom of the pot for about 5 minutes, and then start brushing with a brush, and just brush it a few times. Finally, remember to wash the cast iron pan with detachable handle using clean water, and then dry it to avoid rusting again.
